Names missing in voters list: TPA

Vijayawada: The members of the Tax Payers Association (TPA) have said that names of most of the voters are missing in the voters list which was released recently though they have sent a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer to include all the eligible voters in the state in the voters list.

In this regard they have organised a press meet here on Thursday.

Addressing the media, TPA secretary Anjaneyulu said that in the recently concluded elections in Telangana state, the Chief Electoral Officer have to tender apology to the people as thousands of voters could not cast their vote as their votes were not appeared in the voters list. 

He appealed to the officials to be conscious in not repeating the same in the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh in 2019.
