MLA M Suguna lays foundation stone for Shaadi Mahal

Tirupati: City MLA M Suguna along with Municipal Corporation of Tirupati Commissioner V Vijay Rama Raju laid the foundation stone for construction of Shaadi Mahal at Peerla Chavidi in Galiveedhi in the city on Saturday. 

The corporation taken up Shaadi Mahal construction at a cost of Rs 1 crore as part of the welfare measures for the minority Muslim community here. 

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA reiterated that the TDP government commitment for the welfare of the minority Muslims and added that the Shaadi Mahal construction will fulfil the long felt need of the Muslim community in the city. 

She said the minority corporation sanctioned Rs 1 crore for Shaadi Mahal construction and added that it will be ready in six months. 

The MLA and the Commissioner also laid the foundation stone for works of modernisation of the fish market near Leela Mahal Circle, taken up with an estimate of Rs 49 lakh, to ease congestion and improve the facilities in the existing fish market.
