Collector Syed Umar Jaleel reviews measures for Jathara
Vikarabad: District Collector Syed Umar Jaleel directed officials to make necessary arrangements for the devotees who visit the prestigious ‘Dharur Jathara,’ which is going to start from November 6. No devotee should face any trouble during the jathara, he said. Jaleel held a review meeting on the arrangements with concerned officials and representatives of Jathara association at his chamber here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that all the officials should take steps to make the jathara successful. Medical officers should work round the clock in shifts and to be available for the devotees, the collector said. He instructed the electricity officials to install high-mast lights. He also told the concerned officials to make arrangements to shift garbage, drinking water and transport. Additional SP Narsimulu, SE (R&B) Ramesh Babu, DMWO Saritha, district panchayat officer Majid, DSP Sirisha, Tharur tahasildar Radhabai, members of jathara association Steven and Mark and government officials attended the meeting.
