EVMs and VVPATs examined

Vikarabad: The District Collector Syed Umar Jaleel has disclosed that the second round of examination of EVMs and VVPAT was held in the presence of representatives of recognized political parties on Friday. Recently, Bharath Electrical Limited (BHEL) supplied 71 EVMs and VVPATs to the district. 

Engineers of BHEL examined the voting machines in the presence of political leaders and expressed their satisfaction at the functioning of the machines. An awareness session was also conducted to officials and election staff for efficient conduct of elections.  Among those participated in the program were administrative officer Srinivas and office staff.
