Hyderabad: Now it is the turn of the main opposition Congress party to be hit by dissidence. The supporters of former MLA from Serilingampally Assembly constituency, Bikshapati Yadav on Sunday staged a protest in front of Gandhi Bhavan at Nampally demanding that party ticket be given to their leader.
Going a step ahead, two supporters of Yadav also made an attempt to commit suicide.

While one of the two supporters tried to self-immolate by pouring kerosene over his body, the other tried to kill himself by slitting his vein on the wrist. However, other supporters present at the venue prevented them from taking the extreme step. Speaking on the occasion, Bikshapati demanded that the party high command to allot ticket to him, else he would ensure defeat of any candidate who has been allotted ticket for Serilingampally by the Grand Alliance. Yadav raised anti-TDP slogans along with hundreds of his supporters at the dharna.
