Missing schoolgirl found murdered in Bommalaramaram
Bommalaramaram (Yadadri-Bhongir): The murder of a missing ninth class girl has created sensation in Bommlaramaram mandal in the district.
According to sources, the girl, Pamula Shravani (14), daughter of P Narsimha and Nagamani, and a native of Hazipur village of Bommalaramaram mandal, recently completed her class ninth studies from Serenity Model School of Keesara mandal of Medchal district. However, she has been commuting to school to take Class X classes from her native place Hazipur for the last five days.
Usually the family members of the girl drop her at Bommalaramaram at 7 am. After completing the classes, she returns to Bommalaramaram by 12 noon and from there she reaches her native Hazipur by catching a bus or by taking a lift from the villagers and sometimes she is picked up by family members.
However on Thursday, Shravani did not return home even after the 3 pm and the worried family members with the help of villagers started searching for her.
When they failed to find her, they lodged a missing complaint with the Bommalaramaram police.
Local SI Venkatesh registered a case and took up the investigation. Along with family members and villagers, the police with Clues team rushed to an unused well in Hazipur after finding a school bag near the well.
The shocked family members confirmed it was Shravani. The police and the family members found liquor bottles near the school bag. Soon, tension prevailed in the village as the news spread.
Meanwhile, police constituted five teams to search for the girl Shravani on Thursday. However, on Friday, they found her body.
Police Clues team collected finger prints on liquor bottles and other important evidences in order to trace out the accused in connection with the murder of Shravani.
Meanwhile, family members of Shravani and villagers expressed their angst over the police apathy in tracing the girl in time during the completion of formalities while shifting the dead body to hospital for post-mortem.
After receiving the information, Bhongir DCP Narayana Reddy along with other police officials rushed to the spot, assured strict action against the accused, and justice to the family.
