Warangal Urban Collector reviews land record purification works

Warangal: Warangal Urban district is making huge strides in the implementation of issuing e-pattadar passbooks, the State government's initiative to ensure transparency and speedy disposal of title deeds, to the land owners, the Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil said.

Monitoring the progress of land record upgradation and purification (LRUP) here on Saturday, he said that administration has so far cleared 1.11 lakh pattadar passbooks of the total 1.32 lakh.

"The regular monitoring of the LRUP is yielding good results," Patil said, stating that the administration has cleared 5,101 land accounts in this week. He said that they have marked 64,928 notional accounts.

The Collector said that the district received 94,248 e-passbooks from the government. Further he directed the officials to speed up the survey of land where the stakeholders were facing dispute. Joint Collector S Dayanand, RDO K Venka Reddy and e-district manager Sridhar were among others present.
