Jana Sena Party cadres ready with arsenal for Pawan Kalyan yatra in West Godavari
Akiveedu: With the yatra of Jana Sena Party chief and the actor Pawan Kalyan, in West Godavari, is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, the party activists and fans in Kalla mandal focused on the drinking water problems in the mandal.
They visited Dumpagadapa village and discussed on water pollution. They complained about the increase in number of aqua farms in violation of rules. The drinking water contamination was haunting people, and they alleged the authorities for giving permissions indiscriminately. The pollution from the ponds had contaminated drinking water canals which have now become drains, they alleged.
The activists accused the people’s representatives for ignoring drinking water supply schemes. They stated that the pipeline work which was started 10 years ago from Parimalla lock to mitigate water problem in Kalla and Akiveedu mandals could still not be achieved.
The activists of JSP have laboratory reports on the drinking water contamination with them. They are hopeful that their leader would bring the water problem to the notice of the government.
