The farmers in all places had been facing problems because of the faulty policies of the governments.

Srinivas revealed that they had conducted survey on the status of farmers in different parts of the district during signature campaign.

He said the farmers, especially in dry lands, had been facing serious problems with water. Chintalapudi, Tadipudi lift irrigation schemes along with other irrigation projects should be completed and water should  be supplied to the  dry lands.

Even on electricity supply farmers were not happy. The farmers need nine hours of power supply during day time.

He said that farmers affected by Chintalapudi lift irrigation scheme and national highway expansion had been asking for compensation as per 2013 land acquisition act.
