Government should fix prices of medicines

CITU chief addresses inaugural session of the three-day Federation of Medial and Sales Representatives' Associations of India General Council

Musheerabad: Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) All- India President Hemalatha on Friday demanded fixing of prices of all medicines by the government and to finalise the working hours for medical and sales representatives.

Addressing the inaugural session of the three-day Federation of Medial and Sales Representatives' Associations of India (FMRAI) General Council Meeting at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, she said the State and the Centre should revive pharma companies like IDPL, HAL and RSDPL and bring down prices of medicines. 

Academician Chukka Ramaiah spoke on the occasion. Federation president Vishwanath, general secretary Satanu Chaterji and medical representatives attended.
