Officials told to speed up medical college building works

Suryapet: District Collector Amoy Kumar has ordered the officials concerned to complete the medical college building works as per the schedule.

On Friday, he inspected the works of the medical college building in Suryapet town. Speaking on the occasion, he said it was mandatory to complete the building in time as the medical council was going to inspect the building to grant permission to run the college. He directed the contractor to maintain quality in works.

Later, the Collector also inspected the construction works of additional rooms in local area hospital, which was recently upgraded to 300-bedded district hospital. Suryapet Revenue Divisional officer Mohan Rao, Medical College Superintendent Dr Murali Reddy and officials concerned accompanied the Collector.
