Vijayawada Mayor distributes house site pattas

​Vijayawada: Mayor Koneru Sridhar distributed House Site Pattas to the beneficiaries at Jakkampudi Colony here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the mayor said that as part of the second phase of the house pattas distribution at Jakkampudi Colony, about 30 beneficiaries who had paid registration fee were given house site pattas. He said that the plots registration work of the remaining beneficiaries would be done soon, he informed.

He said that by paying Rs 3,700, the plot registration work would be completed without paying any additional charges at the registration office. He said that by having house registration the beneficiaries would come under taxation and the owner can obtain bank loans, said the mayor.

Executive engineer (housing) Mohan Rao, registration department officers and others participated in the programme.
