Rytu Sangham plans Jail Bharo on Aug 9
Eluru: The AP Rytu Sangham will organise besiege of Collectorate and Jail Bharo as part of Poru Bata on August 9.
The sangham district upland secretary K Srinivas wanted the government to provide support price, farm loans and waiver of loans to farmers.
He released a poster on August 9 protest here on Tuesday. He informed that they would be taking up signature campaign with 30,000 farmers over their demands.
He wanted the Centre brought a piece of legislation allowing the farmers to sell their produce at support price.
The government should procure the produce from the farmers at a support price double the cost of production as recommended by Swaminathan Commission.
The Rytu Sangham district assistant secretary K Bhaskara Rao, leaders B Rattaiah, T Rangarao, Mallikharjuna Rao and others were present.
