Minister C Laxma Reddy happy over performance of govt schools

Mahbubnagar: Health Minister Laxma Reddy here on Wednesday expressed his happiness over the performance of government schools in Mahbubnagar and securing good results. 

While addressing the school students at Zillah Parishad High School in Addakul mandal, the Minister said, “the initiatives and steps taken by the State government to develop facilities in the schools contributed to improvement of the standards and results.

Our efforts to ensure quality education and starting new Gurukulas across the State during the past one year have all helped in getting good results in government schools.”

He inaugurated additional classrooms at ZPHS Addakula. He said the State government is also initiating measures to improve the quality of midday-meal to the students studying in the government schools.

“Apart from providing better facilities, nutritious food, and the State government is also giving sanitary kits to more than either lakh girl students across the state. 

Various initiatives were taken up by the Health Department to improve the facility of the government hospitals, Laxma Reddy said. The State government is also initiating steps to provide free diagnostic tests for more than 54 diseases. In addition to this, he said the government is also soon planning to launch ‘Kantiki Velugu’ healthcare initiatives.
